Adam started his engineering career near Vail, Colorado doing mechanical and plumbing design work throughout the resort towns in the region. Over the years, he has worked on a variety of projects including mixed use, condominiums, lodges, on-mountain restaurants as well as large custom homes. Adam is also a car guy. And after a stint as a fabricator at a custom automotive shop, he’s back pursuing engineering with the great team at BEC.
Amanda is a motivated engineer striving to identify and solve project challenges before they become issues. She loves delving into the finer points of design while maintaining practical and economical solutions.
Amanda received her B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012. She spent four years designing HVAC systems for multifamily projects along the East Coast while specializing in various green building programs. In 2017 she joined The Boulder Engineering Company to expand her range of project types and take on new disciplines. Amanda is always looking forward to new challenges and helping customers get the results they desire.
Taylor is a bubbly engineer who loves to provide commentary in the office. Taylor joined The Boulder Engineering Company in Fall 2018 after moving back from Texas where she was working as a Facilities Engineer in oil and gas. Prior to working in oil and gas, she spent a year and a half designing HVAC systems for multifamily projects in Denver. She contributes to designing both mechanical and plumbing systems at BEC.
She received her BS in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University in 2016, where she was very involved in her sorority and Greek Life community and still volunteers as an advisor today. She also loves doing art projects and spending time with her dog, Moose.
Griffin earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a B.S. in Computer Engineering in his home state at the University of Kentucky. He stuck around Kentucky just long enough to become a certified E.I.T., then made the trek out to Colorado at the end of 2018.
Ever since, he’s been designing electrical systems with Boulder Engineering, and working towards becoming a Professional Engineer. He hasn’t quite come around to the way “Louisville” is pronounced out here, but has otherwise loved every minute of it.
For as long as Griffin can remember, he knew that when he grew up he wanted to be Spider-Man. Engineering was a close second, though. He likes to fill in the gaps between the two with rock climbing; a very fortunate hobby to have in Colorado. He’s also a technology enthusiast and loves chatting about the bleeding edge—another fortunate hobby to have at BEC. It would seem his only passion not fortunate to have in Colorado is football. Griffin is a die-hard San Diego Los Angeles Chargers fan, who just happen to be rivals of the Denver Broncos. It’s just another opportunity for banter at the office, though, which Griffin never shies from.
